February Reflections
Two months have already passed in this new year. Two months of new rhythms, new challenges, new mercies. February, for me, was a month of refining — physically, mentally, spiritually, and even in ministry. Here’s what I learned.

Two months have already passed in this new year. Two months of new rhythms, new challenges, new mercies. February, for me, was a month of refining — physically, mentally, spiritually, and even in ministry. Here’s what I learned.

Throughout this last week, I have really struggled. I felt God had led me to all these new changes this year. I felt He had asked me to stretch myself and do more for Him. And I jumped in with both feet. So why was I now having health issues, so much so that my work stopped?

Yet even as I’m writing this post, I’m realizing how God is always working in my life. We’ve been studying Daniel in an online bible study. Now, Daniel wasn’t the easiest book of the Bible for me to study. It has a LOT of dreams and prophecies and interpretations in it. That’s not my forte!

And the word that came to mind was "whirlwind." When I looked up the definition, this portion struck me: "It can also refer to something that involves many quickly changing events or feelings." This describes everything perfectly and I knew God sent me this word.
